  • Sprinkle chopped pecans on salads. They add crunch and flavor to both green salads (think roasted pecans and crumbled goat cheese) and fruit salads (pecans go with any fruit combination).
  • Crown a grilled Portobello mushroom salad with toasted pecans, and then sprinkle with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
  • Invigorate ordinary chicken salad with halved red grapes, mandarin oranges and toasted pecans.
