SOUPS / SALADS
 
“Zone Coverage” Cole Slaw - yields approximately 12 cups
recipe developed by The Clever Cleaver Brothers®

Salad

8 cups shredded green cabbage
1 cup 1/4 "-diced red pepper
1 cup shredded carrot
1 cup 1/2 "-diced onion
1 cup raisins
1 cup Georgia Pecans

Dressing

1 cup nonfat plain yogurt
1 cup fat free sour cream
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
1 teaspoon Cholulaâ Hot Sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1/4 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon powdered ginger
1/4 teaspoon dill
1/8 teaspoon white pepper

  1. In a large plastic bowl, combine the salad ingredients.
     
  2. In another plastic bowl, combine the dressing ingredients.
     
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients and toss to combine. Serve immediately or cover with an airtight lid and hold in the refrigerator until ready enjoy. Mix prior to serving.
